“Wake Up Shout Out” is especially for some of my fellow Americans of African descent. It will consists of essays on social issues particularly as they pertain to Americans of African descent who are living in poverty, those who are being disenfranchised, the ones attending inadequate schools and those living in crime infested neighborhoods. As the readers peruse these essays and upon reflection of how things have been here in America for at minimum the past 20 to 30 years; they should soon come to realize that little has changed in America for the Americans of African descent.
These articles certainly won’t have an ultimate solution to these problems but plenty of food for thought will be offered with the hope that some of those living in the affected communities will be encouraged do something from within.
